Ullapool is nestled on the shores of Lochbroom about 1 hour North of Loch Ness and Inverness. It is the perfect base to discover Ross-shire and Sutherland. During our Long Weekend, with four full days on the Hill, our plan is to combine Munro's and the smaller Mountains in the area. The traverse of An Teallach's castellated ridge from Sail Liath to Bidein a'Ghlas Thuill is regarded as one of Scotland's classic routes; Conival and Ben More Assynt are two of the highest Mountains - and Munro's - in this rough and rugged stretch of the Northern Highlands; the 'nearly' Munro Foinaven; and lastly, but by no means leastly, the iconic Stac Pollaidh.
