Carn Dearg 3 - 27th November 2011

Grade A: 15 miles; 8-10 hours.

Meet/Time: Tesco Kingsway CP at 7.00am or at the end of the Glen Road in Glen Banchor at 09.30am Map Ref. NN:35/693998.

Description: From CP follow path into the Allt a Chaorainn and cross the bridge and head up to the bealach between Geal Charn and A Chailleach. Continue onto the summit of  A Chailleach. Drop down and continue onto Carn Sgulain. From Carn Sgulain head towards Carn Dearg via the plateau and several tops. From Carn Dearg drop down into Gleann Ballach and pick up the path following the Allt Fionndrigh out to Glenballoch cottage and back to start point. (may decide to do this in reverse on the day).
