Meall Coranaich/Meall a'Choire Leith - 31st May 2009

Grade A: 10 miles; 6-8 hours.            

Meet/Time: Asda Milton of Craigie CP at 8.00am or Ben Lawers Visitors Centre CP at 10.00am (£2.00 parking if not NTS member) Map Ref. NN:51/608379.

Description:  From CP follow path into Coire Odhar, at NN616392 take drovers path to the bealach and from there onto the summit of Meall Corranaich. Head NNE towards Coire Liath and then onto Meall a’Choire Leith. Return by reverse route.

Grade A: 8 miles; 4-6 hours.

Meet/Time: Asda Milton of Craigie CP at 8.00am or CP at 10.00am Map Ref. NN:51/585390.

Description: Climb grass slopes to knoll. From here climb various grassy terraces to summit Meall nan Tarmachan (1044m). Follow interesting ridge to Creag na Caillich before returning to CP via track
